The reduced diameter assists the progressive action Daiwa seek, however X45X Full Shield tech ensures high levels of power and strength as well as amazing responsiveness and accuracy.

Where a bigger average size is likely to prevail or you just need more power, Daiwa set a higher loading point and stiffened the butts to create P editions.

High levels of bending are expected, so as the X-SLIM loads, V-Joint Alpha perfects the curvature and action.

The designers have even tailored handle lengths to suit each respective rod.

The exclusive Tournament reel seat offers a down locking fore grip and closer engagement of the reel to hand. All models also feature a very distinctive ‘two tone’ EVA handle design featuring a ‘suede’ touch grip and the original Armlock with the Airity logo laser cut into it.
