Product Description

The shooting head systems from NEXTCAST are becoming increasingly popular. Especially among ambitious salmon and steelhead anglers, a true hype has been ignited in recent years around the well though-out shooting heads. Nextcast have also learned to love the adapted, user-friendly tapers and let the terrific casting characteristics put a smile on your faces every time. In addition to the very popular two-handed shooting heads and the matching tips and running lines, the extensive collection also includes very successful lines for modern streamer fishing for trout. Nextcast especially like the fact that you can definitely find the right line for every casting style and water condition in the Nextcast range.

The TroutFinder is the little brother of the Zone shooting heads and is ideal for shooting head fishing for trout and co. in streams and rivers. Whether on the Trout Spey rod, the light Switch or your single-handed streamer rod, the Zone loads efficiently even with little backspace and transports heavy sink tips and weighty streamers effectively to the other bank. The length and taper of the tips allow for a clean turnover even with heavy T-tips. However, with longer polyleaders, more delicate presentations with small wet flies or soft hackle patterns are equally possible. Just as you are used to from NextCast, the TroutFinder heads are also offered in various sink rates. Together with the matching tips, the result is a perfectly graduated sink rate over the entire length, so that you always keep direct contact with the fly while fishing and the speed of the current is compensated. Similar also to the Zone lines, the line can be seen as a hybrid between scandi and skagit. The power and power transmission of a Skagit with the graceful presentation characteristics of a Scandi shooting head.
