The Spyderco Manix 2 Dark Blue G10 S110V is a special edition of a famous pocket knife. With its ball bearing lock the Manix 2 has been a fixed mark in the Spyderco collection for years. For this Dark Blue collection Spyderco chose a remarkable material for the handle and an exclusive type of steel.
The blade is made from CPM S110V steel. A type of steel which great features when it comes to sharpness retention. The molecular structure of the steel is very fine and tight. As such the edge retains its shape, and sharpness for a really long time. It is quite challenging to sharpen but not impossible with the right tools and a little patience.
The blue handle is the part that gave the Manix 2 Dark Blue its name. Light-weight and rock-solid: G10. Some enthusiasts have described this material as blurple. A combination of blue and purple.
