Sandeels have accounted for some fantastic catches of big Pike from a number of venues in recent years, and it is on many top Pike anglers secret list! Exactly what pike find so attractive about these slim-line fish, it is unknown, but if you have yet to try them, It's a good idea to give them a go, you will not be disappointed!

Snake Launce are the largest of the Sandeel baits available. Normally measuring approximately 10 in length and about 1-1.5 in diameter they are perfect for the angler targeting larger Pike and can be fished either whole or as a half-bait.

If you are interested in targeting big Eels then Sandeel chunks are a great alternative to more conventional baits. On some venues the specimen eels find them absolutely irresistible!

Usage Tips
Launce are very easy to fish and work equally well on either a float paternoster or ledger rig. Snake Launce are quite a large bait and for that reason Baitbox recommend using them with a Pike Pro Twin Treble size 4 or 6 trace. Because of their length, cut snake launce in half for best results.
