The Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 front mounted thermal imaging attachment quickly and easily transforms your day scope into a thermal riflescope, featuring a 640x480 12 micron sub 40mK NETD thermal sensor to ensure a sharp, richly contrasted thermal image for enhanced identification of wildlife.
Providing a man sized detection range of up to 2300m, via a fast aperture 50mm F1.0 lens, in combination with the new thermal sensor, the Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 delivers exceptional detection capabilities via a Full HD Multicolour AMOLED display.
Full-HD multicolour AMOLED display
The new FHD full-colour AMOLED display achieves a high contrast, wide dynamic range whilst remaining energy saving. The fast response time ensures a clear and smooth image when observing objects in motion in all weather conditions.
Compact & Well-Balanced
When hunting, every extra gram of equipment makes a difference. The Krypton 2 FXG50 is easy and comfortable to use. With its short length, lightweight design and uniform weight distribution, this thermal imaging front attachment has minimal impact on the balance of your rifle set up when mounted on the lens of a daytime riflescope, with the attachment controls remaining easy to reach.
Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing
A rugged, lightweight magnesium alloy housing offers high structural strength, protecting the Krypton 2 FXG50 from shocks and vibration loads. The magnesium alloy housing dissipates heat from the electronic components of the thermal imager, increasing the operational stability of the device.
Up to 11 Hours of Operation
The quick-change rechargeable Li-Ion IPS7 battery pack provides enough power to keep the Krypton 2 FXG50 operational for up to 11 hours. One single battery pack will power the unit for a whole night, without the need to be replaced. The quick-release and wireless design, along with a long run time are the main highlights of this power system.
Adaptable User Interface
A new feature for Pulsar thermal imaging attachments is the graphical user interface adaptation.
The device menu and status bar is now scaled in size for a comfortable view when changing the magnification of the day riflescope, in order to maintain the display operation modes and functions in the field of view
Easy to Install
The Krypton XG50 is mounted on a quick-release PSP-B bayonet adaptor using a four-point bayonet. The bayonet coupling is highly reliable and quick and easy to attach. The attachment is removed from one adapter and installed on another with no need for special tools. This allows you to quickly and easily transform a daytime optic into thermal imaging device. The precise screen positioning mechanism enables the perfect alignment of the thermal or night vision image in the field of view of daylight optics for maximum viewing comfort.
3 Levels of Sensitivity Amplification
Selection of the signal amplification level combined with new filtration algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments provide the user with a greater scope of options for long-range observation in all weather conditions. The amplification setting helps to define anatomical features whilst ensuring clear rendering of objects and topography in the field of view.
Built-In Photo & Video Recorder
The Krypton 2 FXG50s built-in video recorder, along with its generous internal memory, can capture and store hours of video and tens of thousands of still images. A single touch of a button is enough to take a picture of an interesting scene or start recording video.
8 Colour Palettes
A choice of 8 colour palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night.
