Product Description

Please note: due to shipping restrictions we are unable to deliver this item internationally.

The Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 front mounted thermal imaging attachment quickly and easily transforms your day scope to a thermal. It features a 640x480 12 micron sub 40mk NETD thermal sensor to produce a sharp, richly contrasted thermal image for the enhanced identification of wildlife.

Supplied complete with a 3x20B monocular the Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 can be used hand held for thermal observation or attached to your day scope transforming it into a dedicated thermal riflescope.

Providing a man sized detection range of up to 2300m, via a fast aperture 50mm F1.0 lens, in combination with the new thermal sensor, Krypton 2 XG50 delivers exceptional detection capabilities using a Full HD Multicolour AMOLED display.

Full-HD multicolour AMOLED display

The new FHD full-colour AMOLED display achieves a high contrast, wide dynamic range whilst remaining energy efficient. The fast response time ensures a clear and smooth image when observing objects in motion.

Compact & Well-Balanced

When hunting, every extra gram of equipment makes a difference. The Krypton 2 XG50 is easy and comfortable to use. With its short length, lightweight design and uniform weight distribution, this thermal imaging front attachment has minimal impact on the balance of the "weapon-optics" complex when mounted on the lens of a daytime riflescope. The attachment controls are also ergonomically placed and easy to use.

Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing

A rugged, lightweight magnesium alloy housing offers high structural strength, protecting the Krypton 2 XG50 from shocks and vibration loads. The housing is resistant to a wide range wide range of atmospheric conditions while simultaneously dissipating heat from the electronic components inside. The regulation of heat increases the operational stability of the device.

Up to 11 Hours of Operation

The quick-change rechargeable Li-Ion IPS7 battery pack provides enough power to keep the Krypton 2 XG50 operational for up to 11 hours. One single battery pack can power the unit for a whole night, without the need for it to be replaced. Its quick-release and wireless design, along with a long operating time are key features of this power system.

Adaptable User Interface

A new feature for Pulsar thermal imaging attachments is the graphical user interface adaptation.

The device menu and status bar is now scaled in size for a comfortable view when changing the magnification of the day riflescope, in order to maintain the display operation modes and functions in the field of view.

Easy to Install

The Krypton XG50 is mounted on a quick-release PSP-B bayonet adaptor using a four-point bayonet. The bayonet coupling is highly reliable and quick and easy to attach. The attachment is removed from one adapter and installed on another with no need for special tools. This allows you to quickly and easily transform a daytime optic into thermal imaging device. The precise screen positioning mechanism enables the perfect alignment of the thermal or night vision image in the field of view of daylight optics for maximum viewing comfort.

3 Levels of Sensitivity Amplification

Selection of the signal amplification level combined with new filtration algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments provide the user with a greater scope of options for long-range observation in all weather conditions. The amplification setting helps to define anatomical features whilst ensuring clear rendering of objects and topography in the field of view.

Built-In Photo & Video Recorder

The Krypton 2 XG50s built-in video recorder, along with a generous internal memory, can capture and store hours of video footage and tens of thousands of still images. One touch of a button is enough to take a picture or start recording video.

8 Colour Palettes

A choice of 8 colour palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection. Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long periods of observation at night.
