This reel is an ex-demo reel from the old Hardy shop in Alnwick and was used when somebody wanted to go out the the casting pool and try out one of the Shakespeare double handed rods. Very few signs of use and comes in original box.

Shakespeare say:

The gun smoke finish matched the Oracle reel seats and these reels match all the rods in the range in terms of balance and line capacities. The frame and spool is strong but lightweight and has a large arbor wide spool design.
